Unlike other airports, where the walk to Border Control is often a trek through a maze of corridors, Terminal 5 has been designed to get you to your destination as smoothly and quickly as possible.

The Border Control hall is designed for speed and efficiency, with:

  • Up to 36 desks so you can get your passport checked quickly
  • FastTrack for non-EU passport holders travelling in First and Club World

Getting through Border Control even faster

To help speed you through the airport, the Border and Immigration Agency are introducing a number of Iris Scanners. They’re quick and easy to use. Simply register once before you depart and you’ll be able to skip the queue at Border Control every time.
