Terminal 3
A little piece of Terminal 5 at Terminal 3
Due to our large operation at Heathrow, from 17 September 2008 a small number of flights will operate from our base at Heathrow Terminal 3. There, a multi-million pound transformation is underway to ensure passengers continue to receive the excellent service they expect when flying with British Airways.
You’ll use Terminal 3 if you’re flying British Airways from or to:
- Bangkok
- Sydney
- Singapore
- Madrid
- Barcelona
- Helsinki
- Lisbon
- Nice
Codeshare flights with Iberia, Qantas and Finnair will also operate from the oneworld hub at Terminal 3.
Check-in
We recommend that you check-in online before you reach the airport. If you are unable to do so, Terminal 3 has numerous Check-in Kiosks. There are also dedicated check-in desks for passengers travelling in First and Gold Executive Club members.
In addition there will be dedicated Customer Service desks for passengers travelling Club World, Club Europe and Silver Executive Club members.
Galleries Departure lounge
From early 2009 there will also be a brand new Galleries Departure lounge at Terminal 3. This will be exclusively for passengers travelling First, Club World or Club Europe and Gold and Silver Executive Club members. Terminal 3’s Galleries will boast all the relaxing luxuries of those in Terminal 5. First, Club World and Gold Executive Club members arriving from Australia, Singapore or Bangkok will be able make use of the American Airlines Arrivals Lounge with 29 showers, hot breakfasts and a pressing service.
Switching terminals
To transfer between Terminal 3 and Terminal 5 follow the Flight Connections signs. Coaches run every few minutes to connect the two terminals.
