Check-in online for a smoother trip
Checking-in online saves your time, puts you in control, reduces queuing and keeps Terminal 5 running smoothly.
You can also choose your own seat, check-in up to 9 people in your group and print your own boarding pass. Online check-in is available from 24 hours before your flight departs.
Some destinations don’t allow you to print your own boarding pass. If you are travelling to one of these destinations, print your boarding pass at a Check-in Kiosk at the airport.
What about my bags?
Once you have checked-in online all you have to do at the airport is take your bags to one of up to 96 Fast Bag Drops and go straight through to security.

Online check-in doesn’t just put you in control of your own check-in; it also saves you time, helps to keep the airport running smoothly and prevents queues from forming too - all of which means a more relaxed experience for everyone.
And if you can’t go online…
There are up to 96 Check-in Kiosks at Terminal 5 and plenty of British Airways hosts available if you need assistance. There are up to 44 Customer Service desks for travellers wishing to change their itinerary, but you can do that online too. Just log on the Manage My Booking section on ba.com.
